The Wayne County Dispute Resolution Center began in 1987 as the "Southwest Detroit Neighborhood Reconciliation Center."

Our vision is to change the culture of conflict in Wayne County and to serve as a national model for community dispute resolution programs.

Our Mediators

Our Mediators.

Our mediators are volunteers from the community who average seven years of experience. We have judges, lawyers, and a variety of other volunteers with differing experience and backgrounds.

The Wayne County Dispute Resolution Center (WCDRC) is a community based Non-profit organization providing confidential resolution of conflicts as well as training and education to schools, individuals, families, businesses and other entities in Metropolitan Detroit and throughout Wayne County.
